Worship Ministry
“NOW THE GOD OF ENDURANCE AND ENCOURAGEMENT GRANT YOU TO BE OF THE SAME MIND TOWARD ONE ANOTHER ACCORDING TO JESUS CHRIST THAT WITH ONE ACCORD YOU MAY WITH ONE MOUTH GLORIFY THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.” Romans 15:5-6
It is our goal as a worship ministry to draw people to come and meet with God. We are seeking to serve the Lord as well as the body of Christ by having a shepherd’s heart and by being sensitive to the needs of the people.
Worship leading is a ministry that requires a heart for serving with humility, faith, and obedience. God desires to do great things during our worship time and we are to remain humble by submitting to the Holy Spirit and letting the Lord be the leader. It requires faith. God may desire to use you outside of your comfort level and that requires having faith to know that God will do a great thing in that. Along with having faith we need to also have the obedience to hear the Lord and what he is speaking to our hearts.
If you desire to be a part of this ministry there are great rewards, but also there are some levels of discipline and commitment that are required, such as: attending regularly scheduled practices, aiming to grow stronger musically, and having a unified heart with the rest of your worship team.

Although worship is not all about how great a singer you are or how well you play the guitar it is a key part in worship ministry. The most important aspect of worship is the attitudes of our hearts. However, skill is also important in leading worship. Psalm 33:3 reads “sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.”
It is our prayer that all who are involved in the worship ministry are of one heart and one mind that we may with one mouth glorify our God in Heaven.
